AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING I
I
THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT TO PURCHASE
PARK LAND IN THE SOUTHWEST
QUADRANT OF DUBLIN, OHIO
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, ~of the elected members concurring: I
Section 1. That the Council of the City of Dublin, Ohio, authorizes the
City Manager to enter into a contract with Wilcox-Tuttle Limited
Partnership for the purpose of purchasing park land in the southwest
quadrant of the City of Dublin.
Section 2. That said real estate being 7.5~ acres, located on the west
side of Wilcox Road and adjoining the east boundary of Kaltenbach Park
being further outlined in Exhibits "A-l, A-2 and A-3" attached hereto
and included.
Section 3. That the purchase price of the 7.5~ acres being Two Hundred
Forty Thousand Dollars ($240,000.00).
Section 4. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance
in the CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT TAX FUND, the sum of $240,000.00 to account
Dl0-07-7A-250F.
Section 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after the earliest period allowed by law.

ON THE WESTERLY SIDE OF WILCOX ROAD AND
NORTH OF 'rUTTLE ROAD IN THE CITY OF DUBLIN,
COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO
situated in the State of Ohio, County of Franklin, city of
Dublin, beinq in Virsinia Military Survey No. 3004 and
containing 7.550 aores of land, more or less, said 7.550 acres
being out of that 51.387 acre tract of land described in the
deed to Wilcox-Tuttle Limited Partnership, of record in Official
Record 147S8H17, Reoorder's Office, Franklin County, Ohio, said
7.550 acres of land being more partioularly described as follows:
Beginning at a railroad spike at an angle point in the
centerline of Wilcox road at the northeasterly corner of said
51.387 acre tract, the same being the southeasterly corner of
that 1.287 acre tract of land described in the deed to Harold E.
DeRhodes and Helen J. DeRhodes, of record in Official Record
05922H06, Recorder's Office, Franklin County, Ohio, said
railroad spike being looated 1,113.31 feet southerly from, as
measured along the centerline of said wilcox Road, an aluminum
cap in concrete (Franklin County Monument FCGS-4412) at the
. 'centerline intersection of Rings Road and said wilcox Road;
Thence, from said railroad spike, S-6.45'OO"E, a distance
of 268.08 feet to a p.k. nail, said p.k. nail being located
N-6.4fPOOIIW, a distance of'l,S22.14 feet from, as measured along
the centerline of said wilcox Road, an aluminum cap in concrete
(Franklin County Monument FCGS-2227) at the southeasterly corner
of said 51.387 acre tract;
Thence, from said p.k.' nail, S-84.38'36"W,' parallel with
and 268.00 feet southerly from, as measured at right angles, the
northerly line ot said 51.387 acre tract, crossing a 3/4-inch
(I.D.) iron pipe in the westerly right-of-way line of said ,
wilcox Road at a distance of.30.01 feet, a total' distance of
1,229.73 feet to a 3/4-inch (~.D.) iron pipe in the westerly
line of said 51.387 acre tract, the same being 'in the easterly
line of that 5.032 acre tract of land described'in. the deed to
the Washington Township Trustees, of record in Oeeq Book 3714,
Page 662, Recorder's Office, Franklin County, Ohio;
Thence N-S.38'46"W, with the westerly line of said 51.387
acre tract and with the easterly line of said 5.032 acre tract,
a distance of 268.00 feet to a 3/4-inoh (1.0.) iron pipe at' the
northwesterly corner of said 51.387 acre tract, the same being
the northeasterly corner of said 5.032 acre tract, said iron
pipe also being in the southerly line of that 5.4oa aore tract
