AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A BID
FOR THE AVERY ROAD 2.0 M.G.
ELEVATED WATER TANK
WHEREAS, bids have been received for the Avery Road Water Tank; and
WHEREAS, the lowest/best bid is from Hydrostorage, Inc. in the amount
of $2,134,000.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the bid of $2,134,000.00 from Hydrostorage, Inc. be
and hereby is, accepted.
Section 2. That the Acting Village Manager be, and hereby is, authorized
to enter into a contract with said firm for said elevated water tank.
Section 3. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance
in the Avery Road Water Tank Construction Fund the sum of $2,134,000.00
to account D08-0S-SW-2S60 for water tank construction, thereby establishing
an appropriation for this project.
Section 4. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to
be an emergency measure necessary for the public health, safety and
welfare and for the further reason that this project should be initiated
as soon as possible and therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force immediately upon its passage.

Dear Ms. prushing:
Enclosed are two copies of the bid tabulation
summaries of the two bids received May 26, 1987 for the
referenced project. Both bids meet cont~ract document
requirements for costs, bonds, experience, and preliminary
designs.
Since Hydrostorage, Inc. meets all the requirements
set forth in the contract documents and has offered the
lowest bid of $2,134,000 vs. the CBI Na Con bid of
$2,456,000, I recommend that the contract be awarded to
Hydrostorage, Inc. in the amount of $2,134,000.
An Award of Contract Form has been completed and
is enclosed for your convenience.

The OWNER has considered the BID submitted by you for the above described
WORK in response to its "Advertisement to Bidders" dated Mav 6 & May 13 ,
19 ~, a.nd Instruction to Bidders.
You are hereby notified that your BID has been a,cce:pted for items in the
amount of $ 2,134,000.00 .
You are required by the Instruction of Bidders to execute the Contract and
furnish the required CONTRACTOR'S Performance BOND, Payment BOND and certificates
of insurance within ten (10) calendar days from the date of receipt of this Notice
of Award and the enclosed contract documentso
If you fail to execute said Contract and/or furnish said BONDS within ten (10)
calendar days from the date of receipt of the contract documents, the OWNER Hill be
entitled to consider all your rights arising out of the OWNER's acceptance of your
BID as abandoned and as a forfeiture of your BID BOND. The OWNER will be entitled
to such other rights as may be granted by law.
You are required to sign and return an acknowledged copy of this NOTICE OF
