AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT A QUOTATION TO
PREPARE FINAL DETAILED PAVEMENT, STORM
SEWER AND WATER IMPROVEMENT PLANS FOR
TULLER ROAD IN THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN,
OHIO.
WHEREAS, Tuller Road is developing as one of the major com-
mercial areas in the Village, and;
WHEREAS, Road, Storm Sewer and Water improvments are required
for said Tuller Road, and;
WHEREAS, Ordinance No: 31-86 requires that Council approve de-
sign cost quotations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, __~__ of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the quotation of Bauer, Davidson & Merchant,
Inc. , for preparation of detailed Pavement, Storm Sewer and
vIa ter Improvements plans for Tuller Road in the amount of
$55,000.00 be, and hereby is, accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Village Manager and Finance Director ar.e
hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
said firm for these services.
SECTION 3. That there be appropriated from the un-approp~~a~ed
balance in the General Fund, the sum of $55,000 to the ac.::ount
A 01-06-6A-2550 to meet the obligation of these des i g n c 0 s:: c; .
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.

DATE: October 10, 1986
As you will recall, one of the items included in Ordinance No:
31-86, the Capital Improvement Plan for 1986, was to have
detailed plans prepared for required improvements on Tuller
Road. Mr. Warner, Village Engineer has acquired a proposal
from Bauer, Davidson & Merchant, Inc. , to prepare a final
detailed pavement, storm sewer and partial water improvement
plan for a total cost of $55,000.00. This cost had been
estimated at $50,000.00 when Ordinance No: 31-86 was prepared
in March 1986.
With Federated Boulevard now in place I believe we should
proceed with this design work so as to be in position to
proceed with construction, hopefully in Fiscal 1987.

DATE: October 9 , 1986
Attached hereto is a proposal from Bauer, Davidson &
Merchant, Inc. to prepare plans for the remaining portion
of Tuller Road along with storm sewer and required waterline
plans.
The total cost is $55,000.00. I would recommend awarding
a service agreement to Bauer, Davidson & Merchant for the
above cost. This figure is only $5,000.00 over my estimate
cost for said services.

Dear Mr. Warner:
As per your request, we are pleased to submit the following
proposal for Engineering and Surveying Services at the subject
project.
We propose to prepare a final detailed pavement, storm
sewer and water (partial) improvement plan for a total cost of
$55,000.
For clarification, we have not included in the mentioned
total cost, provision for the following listed items:
1. Construction staking
2. Construction Inspection
3. Specification and Bid Documents
4. State Permits
5. Test Borings
6. Tabulation of Bids
7. Easement descriptions
8. Negotiations for working rights, easements or
acquisition of additional rights-of-way.
