AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT A QUOTATION
FOR THE PREPARATION OF ENGINEERING
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR A 12"
WATERLINE FROM BRANDONWAY ON BRAND
ROAD TO MUIRFIELD DRIVE AND, DE-
CLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, quotations have been received for the preparation of
plans and specifications for a 12" Waterline on Brand Road to
provide an additional feed to the northwest area of the Village,
and;
WHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that the quotation from
Burgess & Niple, Ltd. , is the lowest/best quotation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, --~-- of the elected members con-
curring:
SECTION 1. That the quotation of Burgess & Niple, Ltd. , in the
amount of $9,000.00 for the engineering design of said Waterline
be, and hereby is, accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Village Manager and Finance Director be,
and hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract
with Burgess & Niple, Ltd. , for these engineering services.
SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated from unappropriated
funds in the Water Fund to the account of E01-05-5C-2350, the
sum of $9,000.00 to meet the obligations of this contract.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, de-
clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the public
peace, health and safety and for the further reason that this
Waterline will assist in resolving the low pressure currently
existing in the northwest area and, therefore this Ordinance
shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
