AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
FINANCE DIRECTOR TO PURCHASE
ADDITIONAL DISK STORAGE FOR
THE EXISTING COMPUTER SYSTEM
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Village of Dublin has utilized the current disk storage
space available to capacity; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Dublin is in need of additional disk storage
space in order to proceed with daily finance operations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring;
Section 1. That the Finance Director be and hereby is authorized to
purchase from Software Solutions, Inc. , the authorized dealer for
current Village computer hardware, an additional 69 MB disk unit
(including additional disk drive) in the amount of $8,695.00, and,
Section 2. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance
of the General Fund, the sum of $8,695.00 to the account A01-07-7D-2520
and,
Section 3. That this Ordinance be, and it hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety, and for the further reason that this equipment is
necessary for the continued operation of the Finance Department as
provided in Section 735.05.01 of the Ohio Revised Code and therefore
this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its
passage.
