AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/
BEST BID FOR GRADING AND SEEDING OF
INDIAN RUN MEADOWS PARK, DUBLIN, OHIO;
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, pursuant to required advertising, bids were received at 11: 00 A.M.
on Thursday, September 1, 1988, for the grading and seeding of Indian Run
Meadows Park; and,
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Site Improvement Company i
the amount of $23,625.00 is the lowest/best bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the bid of Site Improvement Company for the Indian Run
Meadows Park project in accordance with specifications on file in the
office of the Parks and Recreation Director be, and hereby is, accepted.
Section 2. That the Manager and Finance Director be, and they hereby are,
authorized and directed to execute a contract with the said Site Improveme
Company for the Indian Run Meadows Park project.
Section 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure
necessary for the public peace, health and safety and for the further rea so
that said improvements are currently needed, and therefore this Ordinance
shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.

SUMMARY AND ACTION RECOMMENDED
Sealed bids for the fine grading and seeding of Indian Run Meadows
Park were opened at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 1, 1988. Only one
bid was received, the tabulation is as follows:
Advertised estimate $22,000.00
Proposal - Site Improvement Corp $23,625.00
The Parks and Recreation Department recommends that the proposal
submitted by Site Improvement Corp. be accepted; see attached Ordinance
89-88. It is also requested that this ordinance be adopted as emergency
legislation to maximize the fall growing season.
