AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/
BEST BID FOR LLEWELLYN FARMS PARK,
TUTTLE ROAD, DUBLIN, OHIO; AUTHOR-
IZING AND DIRECTING THE MANAGER AND
FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CON-
TRACT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, pursuant to required advertising, bids were received at 2:00
P.M. on August 2, 1988, for the Llewellyn Farms Park project; and
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Strawser Paving
Company, Inc. in the amount of $250,277.00 is the lowest/
best bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the bid of Strawser Paving Company, Inc. for the
Llewellyn Farms Park project in accordance with specifications on file
in the office of the Parks and Recreation Director be, and hereby is,
accepted.
Section 2. That the Manager and Finance Director be, and they hereby
are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with the said
Strawser Paving Company, Inc. for the Llewellyn Farms Park project.
Section 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure
necessary for the public peace, health and safety and for the further
reason that said improvements are currently needed, and therefore this
Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
