AN ORDINANCE VACATING A FOUR FOOT STRIP
OF LAND ON MACBETH DRIVE
WHEREAS, Council, pursuant to Resolution No. 13-86 (Revised), expressed
its intent to vacate a four foot wide strip of land located on Macbeth
Drive; and,
WHEREAS, Council further finds that there is good cause for such vacation
of Macbeth Drive and that such vacation will not be detrimental to the
general interests of the City of Dublin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That a four foot wide section of Macbeth Drive and, and the
same is, hereby vacated on the condition that the property owners abutting
thereon shall convey to the City of Dublin, easements for the maintenance
and operation of various public utilities, publicly owned and otherwise.
Section 2. That the City Engineer is hereby instructed to prepare a
vacation plat of the vacated street and cause said plat to be recorded
at the office of the Franklin County Recorder.
Section 3. That the Clerk of Council is directed to notify the Auditor
of Franklin County of the facation, by forwarding a copy of this
Ordinance thereto.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after the earliest period allowed by law.
