AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS
ORDINANCE FOR FISCAL 1988,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code requires when necessary that amendment be
made to the Annual Appropriations; and
WHEREAS, the amount of fees required for prosecutor and jail fees has
increased substantially in 1988 due, in part, to recent changes in the
Ohio law requiring additional days in jail to be served by certain
defendants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio 5 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance
in the GENERAL FUND the sum of $17,000.00 for Mayor's Court/Other
Expenses, increasing said appropriation from $14,500.00 to $31,500.00.
Section 2. That this Ordinance is an emergency measure necessary to
preserve the public peace, health and safety and therefore shall take
effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
