AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/BEST
BID FOR 1984 STREET IMPROVEMENTS, AUTHOR-
IZING AND DIRECTING THE MANAGER AND
FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to required advertising, bids have been
received for the 1984 Street Improvements and:
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of S. E. Johnson
Company for said improvements in the
amount of $ $188,324.00 is the lowest/best bid:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, 'i of the elected members
concurring:
Section 1. That the bid ofS. E. Johnson Company
for said improvements in accordance with specifications on file
in the Office of the Manager be, and hereby is, accepted.
Section 2. That the Village Manager and Finance Director be and
they hereby are authorized and directed to execute a contract with
the said S. E. Johnson Company for 1984
Street Improvements.
Section 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency
measure for the public peace, health and safety and for the further
reason that said improvements are currently needed and therefore
this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon
its passage.
