TO AMEND SECTION 181.08 OF THE
CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF DUBLIN,
PERTAINING TO VILLAGE INCOME
TAX, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Section 181.08 of the Codified Ordinances of Dublin needs to
be amended in order to be consistent with current collection practices
under the administration of the City of Columbus, and
WHEREAS, this amendment will assist the Dublin lncome Tax Division in
collecting the Village Income Tax in a timely manner;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
7 of the elected members concurring that:

Section 1. Section 181.08 of the Codified Ordinances be and the same
hereby is amended by adding the following provision, to read as
follows:
A declaration of estimated tax which is less than 80%
of the tax shown on the final return shall not be
considered in good faith. The difference shall be
subject to penalties and interest as provided for in
Section 181.14 of this ordinance.
Secti.on 2. This Ordinance is declared :0 be an emergency measure
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, safety
and welfare and shall take effect and be in force immediately upon
its passage.
