AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/BEST
BID FOR A NEW PICKUP TRUCK FOR THE PARKS
AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, AUTHORIZING THE
MANAGER AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to required advertising, bids have been re-
ceived for the sale to the Village of a new Pickup Truck and;
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Bobby Layman
Chevrolet in the amount of $ 10,692.34 , is the
lowest/best bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1- That the bid of Bobby Layman Chevrolet for the sale
to the Village of a new Pickup Truck, in accordance with the
specifications presently on file in the office of the Manager
be, and hereby is, accepted.
SECTION 2 . That the Village Manager and Finance Director be,
and they hereby are authorized and directed to execute a con-
tract with the said Bobby Layman Chevrolet for
the purchase of said Pickup Truck.
. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is,
declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preser-
vation of the public peace, health and safety and for the
further reason that a new truck is presently needed for Parks
Maintenance and, therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force immediately upon its passage.
