AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/
BEST BID FOR A TELEPHONE SYSTEM FOR
THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING ADDITION,
AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER AND FINANCE
DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT: AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to required advertising, bids have been re-
ceived for the sale to the Village of a phone system for the
Municipal Building addition and;
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Teletronics, Inc.
in the amount of $ 9,250.00 is
the lowest/best bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, 5 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1- That the bid of Teletronics, Inc. for
the sale to the Village of a Telephone System for the Municipal
Building Addition in accordance with the specifications pre-
sently on file in the office of the Manager be, and hereby is,
accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Village Manager and Finance Director be, an
they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract
with the said Teletronics. Inc. for
the purchase of said Telephone System.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, de-
clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the public peace,
health and safety and for the further reason that wiring for the
telephone system will be required prior to drywall being applied
and, therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.

RE: Telephone System - Muni Expansion
Ordinance no: 23-85
As a result of required advertising, the attached bids were
received on April 26, 1985 for a Telephone System for the
Municipal Building Addition.
All bids were in conformance to the specifications and each
Company complied with the bid bond requirements of 5% of their
total bid.
After checking some of the firms currently utilizing the Tie
Ultracom Telephone System, I would highly recommend the
purchase of this system from Teletronics, Inc. , at the
purchase price of $9,250.00.
Since the wiring for the system should be installed prior to
our building contractor placing drywall, I respectfully
request that Council enact the Ordinance to accept the bid as
emergency legislation.
