O. ~ Form No. 2806-A Ordinance No. ___n_5~-::a~_____ Passed____m __ ____m_ mm____________ ____m__19_____ __ AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/BEST BID FOR THE REMODELING AND EXPANSION OF THE DUBLIN MUNICIPAL BUILDING, AUTHOR- IZING THE MANAGER AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, pursuant to required advertising, bids have been received for said remodeling and expansion, and; WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Mid State Builders. Inc. in the amount of $ 717.556.00 is the lowest/best bid; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring: Section 1. That the bid of Mid State Builders. Inc. for the remodeling and expansion of the Dublin Municipal Building in accordance with the specifications presently on file in the office of the Manager be, and hereby is, accepted. Section 2. That the Village Manager and Finance Director be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with Mid State Builders. Inc. for said remodeling and expansion. Section 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety and for the further reason that said remodeling and expansion is currently needed and therefore the Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage. The estimated life of the following improvement, to-wit: remodeling and expanding the municipal building, acqulrlng related furnishings and equipment, and providing for landscaping and site improvements is at least five (5) years. 2. The maximum maturity of the bonds proposed to be issued to finance such improvement, calculated in accordance with the provisions of Section 133.20, Revised Code of Ohio, is twenty years, and, if notes are issued in anticipation of the issuance of said bonds, the maximum maturity of such notes is twenty years, if sold at public sale, and one year if sold at private sale.
