AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER OR FINANCE
DIRECTOR TO CONTRACT FOR
CREDIT CARD SERVICES FOR THE
CITY OF DUBLIN, AND DECLAR-
ING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is desirable for the City of
Dublin to obtain credit cards for use by various public officials
or employees of the municipality in the performance of their duties;
and,
WHEREAS, the financial institution issuing said credit cards requires
that a person(s) be designated to authorize the issuance of credit
cards to other employees or public officials.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the City Manager and Finance Director be and hereby
are authorized to direct the financial institution to issue a credit
card to public officials or employees of the City of Dublin in order
that they may purchase supplies or services as provided for within
the current appropriation ordinance and in accordance with the
Administrative Order governing said purchases.
Section 2. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared
to be an emergency measure necessary for the public health, safety,
and welfare and for the further reason that this project should be
initiated as soon as possible and therefore this Ordinance shall take
effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
