O. ~ Form No.2806-A Ordinance N 0 .nm~!:_r..~___ p assed_mhh_mmmn___mnmm______m.m___19 .----.-- AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/BEST BID FOR SALT FOR SNOW AND ICE CONTROL IN THE WINTER OF I 1982-1983; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, bids have been received for Salt for snow and ice control, and WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Cargill Salt Company in the amount of $ 28.04 per ton is the lowest/best bid; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring: SECTION 1. That the bid of Cargill Salt Company in ac- cordance with specifications presently on file in the office of the Manager be, and hereby is, accepted. SECTION 2. That the Village Manager and Finance Director be and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a Contract with said Company for the purchase of Salt. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health I and safety and for the further reason that acceptance of the bid must be ac- knowledged within fifteen (15) days and to assure this bid price thru March 31, 1983, therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force im- mediat~ly upon its passage.
