AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/BEST BID
FOR FRANTZ-33-POST ROAD INTERSECTION IM-
I PROVEMENTS, AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER AND
FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT:
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, pursuant to required advertising, bids have been received for the
Frantz-33-Post Road Intersection Improvements and;
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of CAPITAL CITY EXCAVATING CO.
in the amount of $ 542.626.71 is the lowest/best bid:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the bid of CAPITAL CITY EXCAVATING COMPANY for constructi n
of Frantz-33-Post Road Intersection Improvements in accordance with specifi-
cations on file in the office of the Manager be, and hereby is accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Village Manager and the Finance Director be and they here
I by are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with the said
CAPITAL CITY EXCAVATING COMPANY for these improvements.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure for the
preservation of the public peace, health and safety and for the further rea-
son that this project should be initiated and completed at the earliest pos-
sible date, therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force im-
mediately upon its passage.
