16-82 Ordinance I ORDINANCE NO. l.&-82 I 1 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, OHIO ADDING SECflQN '",:104.1, BOARD 6t: ~PEALS WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, that i a Board of Appeals exist to hear and determine appeals from decisions or ! 'I interpretations of the Fire Official made under provisions of the BOCA Basic . , I Fire Prevention Code as adopted by the Village of Dublin, Ohio. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village, 7 memb .rs concurring, that: Section 1. That the following addition shal~ be made to Section F-104.0: F-104.l APPEALS Appeals to the Board may be taken by any person aggrieved by antydecision or interpretation by the Fire Official made under the provisions of this Code. Board of Appeals shall consist of: a. Two Fire Chiefs"or Fire Prevention Officers from a m'~ropolit'n area jurisdiction not contiguous to the area served by the Washington-Perry Township Fire Depart.ents. , b. An experienced Fire Prevention Official from the Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office. c.. Two residents of Dublin who are interested in fire prevention, but not necessarily trained or experienced therein. The Board of Appeals shall be appointed by the Village legislative authority upon the recommendation of the Village Manager and shall hold offic . at the pleasure of the Village legislative authority. The Board shall adopt reasonable rules and regulations for conducting its hearings and such shall be made a public record. Section 2. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and as such shall take, effect immediately on the basis that this Village anticipates the same to be needed for the protection of the public , peace, health, safety, and welfare.
