II AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE FORESTRY
COMMISSION: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, due to a resignation, a vacancy currently exists on the Forestry
Commission, and
WHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that an appointment should be made to said
Commission:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That R;e.Aord VtYnce is hereby appointed to the Fores-
try Commission for a term of three (3) years as defined in Resolution No. 44-7 .
Section 2. That the above named person shall serve as a member until a suc-
cessor is appointed or until their death, resignation, or removal for cause as
determined by Village Council.
Section 3. The member herein appointed shall perform the functions and duties
as described in Resolution No. 44-79 and shall serve without compensation.
- Section 4. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health
and safety and for the further reason that the appointment should be made
immediately so as to permit the Commission to organize and conduct business,
~ therefore this Ordinance shall take 'effect and be in force immediately upon
its passage.
