AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS
I ORDINANCE FOR FISCAL 1981: AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code requires that, when necessary, amendments must
be made to the Annual Appropriations prior to the close of the Fiscal Year,
December 31st and;
WHEREAS, amendments are required on Ordinance No. 82-80 the Annual Appropria-
tion Ordinance for Fiscal 1981;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by. the Council of the Village of Dublin, State
of Ohio, ~ of the elected memgers concurring:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 82-80 be, and hereby is, amended as follows:
In Appropriations from the GENERAL FUND, amend by increasing the Appropriation
for Municipal Building Operating Costs by the sum of $2,050.00 thereby in-
creasing said appropriation from $20,000.00 to $22,050.00, by increasing the
Appropriation for Advertising by the sum of $350.00 thereby increasing said
Appropriation from $2500.00 to $2,850.00, by increasing~the Appropriation for
Trash Collection by the sum of $600.00 thereby increasing said Appropriation
from $100,000.00 to $100,600.00, by increasing the Appropriation for Street
Lighting by the sum of $3,050.00 thereby increasing said Appropriation from
I $22,000.00 to $25,050.00 by increasing the Appropriation for Contingencies
by the sum of $3,000.00 t~ereby increasing said Appropriation from $30,000.00
to $33,000.00, by increasing the Appropriation for Auditor Deductions by the
sum of $5,700.00 thereby increasing said Appropriation from $30,000.00 to
$35,700.00, by increasing the Appropriation for Capital Improvements by the
sum of $283,300.00 thereby increasing said Appropriation from $541,700.00 to
$825,000.00 all above adjustments to be offset by appropriating unencumbered
funds from the General Fund in the sum of $298,050.00.
'SECTION 2. In the SAFETY/POLICE FUND, amend by increasing the Appropriation
for Supplies by the sum of $1,125.00 thereby increasing said Appropriation
from $7,000.00 to $8,125.00 by increasing the Appropriation for Communications
by the sum of $500.00 thereby increasing said Appropriation from $18,000.00
to $18,500.00 by increasing the Appropriation for Vehicle Operating Expenses
by the sum of $2,502.00 thereby increasing said Appropriation from $30,000.00
to $32,502.00, by iQcreasing the Appropriation Building Operating Expenses by
the sum of $4,241.00 thereby increasing said Appropriation from $10,000.00 to
$14,241.00, by increasing the Appropriation for Capital Improvements by the
sum of $11,998.00 thereby increasing said Appropriation from $20,000.00 to
$31,998.00 and by decreasinq the Appropriation for Salaries and Fringes by
the sum of $16,000.00 thereby reducing said Appropriation from $229,800.00 to
$213,800.00 and by decreasing the Appropriation for Prosecutor and Prisoner
Boarding by the sum of $4,340.00 thereby reducing said Appropriation from
$8,000.00 to $3,660.00 and by decreasing the Appropriation for Bonding by the
sum of $26.00 thereby reducing' said Appropriation from $2,000.00 to $1,974.00.
I SECTION 3. In the STREET. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR FUND, amend by increasing the
Appropriation for Equipment Operating Costs by the sum of $5,200.00 thereby
increasing said Appropriation from $18,000.00 to $23,200.00, by increasing the
Appropriation for Building Operating Expenses by the sum of $500.00 thereby
increasing said Appropriation from $10,000.00 to $10,500.00 and by decreasing
the Appropriation for Salaries and Fringes by the sum of $5,700.00 thereby
reducing said Appropriation from $108,500.00 to $102,800.00.

I SECTION 4. In the BUILDING/ENGINEERING FUND, amend by increasing the Appro-
priation for Salaries and Fringes by the sum of $150.00 thereby increasing
said Appropriation from $84,000.00 to $84,150.00, by increasing the Appro-
priation for Supplies by the sum of $500.00 thereby increasing said Appropria-
tion from $5,000.00 to $5,500.00 and, these adjustments to be offset by
appropriating unencumbered funds from the BUILDING/ENGINEERING FUND in the
sum of $650.00.
SECTION 5. In the CEMETERY FUND, amend by increasing the Appropriation for
Supplies by the sum of $600.00 thereby increasing said Appropriation from
$4,000.00 to $4,600.00 and by decreasing the Appropriation for Salaries by
the sum of $600.00 thereby reducing said Appropriation from $8,000.00 to
$7,400.00.
SECTION 6. In the WATER FUND, amend by increasing the Appropriation for Con-
tracted Rebates by the sum of $55,000.00 thereby increasing said Appropria-
tion from $104,000.00 to $159,000.00 and, said adjustment to be offset by
appropriating unencumbered funds from the WATER FUND in the sum of $55,000.00.
SECTION 7. In the SEWER FUND, amend by increasing the Appropriation for
Pump Station Maintenance and Repair by the sum of $1,200.00 thereby increasing
said Appropriation from $12,000.00 to $13,200.00 by increasing the Appropria-
tion for Contracted Rebates by the sum of $21,000.00 thereby increasing said
Appropriation from $186,000.00 to $207,000.00, by decreasing the Appropriation
I for Other Sewer Maintenance and Repair by the sum of $17,500.00 thereby re-
ducing said Appropriation from $20,000.00 to $2,500.00 and by appropriating
unencumbered funds from the SEWER FUND in the sum of $4,700.00.
SECTION 8. In the PARK AND RECREATION FUND, amend by increasing the Appropria
tion for Salaries (Parks) by the sum of $5,000.00 thereby increasing said
Appropriation from $9,500.00 to $14,500.00, by increasing the Appropriation
for Park Utilities by the sum of $2,200.00 thereby increasing said Appropria-
tion from $11,000.00 to $13,200.00, by increasing the Appropriation for
Supplies Equipment and Building Expense by the sum of $3,500.00 thereby
increasing said Appropriation from $7,500.00 to $11,000.00 by increasing
the Appropriation for Special Events by the sum of $8,450.00 thereby increas-
ing said Appropriation from $5,000.00 to $13,450.00 and, these adjustments
to be offset by appropriating unencumbered funds in the PARK AND RECREATION
FUND in the sum of $19,150.00.
SECTION 9. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
peace health and safety and for the further reason that Annual Appropriations
must be amended prior to the close of the Fiscal year therefore this Ordinance
shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
