AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE DUBLIN SIGN CODE,
SECTION 1183.09 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES
II AND PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL GROUND SIGNS
AND TRAFFIC AND DIRECTIONAL SIGNS IN CERTAIN
CASES.
I I NOW, THEREFORE BE(IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village
I
I of Dublin, '7 members concurring that:
I Section 1. The DUblin Sign Code, Section 1183.09 of the
I Codified Ordinances be amended to provide the following under the
I
Section entitled "Ground Sign":
Section C: For buildings or uses having at least 100' of
frontage on each of two (2) public rights-of-way, two (2)
ground signs are permitted only if the combined area and
height of both ground signs does not exceed one and one-thir
(1-1/3) times the area and height of the ground sign with th
maximum allowable area and height dimensions. Neither groun
sign shall, by itself, exceed the maximum allowable area and
height dimensions.
Section 2. The Dublin Sign Code, Section 1183.09 of the
Codified Ordinances be amended to provide the following under the
I Section entitled "Traffic and Directional Signs":
Paragraph 10: Traffic and directional signs indicating point
of entry or exit for a facility or off-street parking area,
provided such signs are limited to four (4) square feet in
area and three (3) feet in height, do not interfere with saf
traffic circulation and do not interfere with or obstruct th
view of drivers exiting onto highways or thoroughfares and
contain no information other than the word "in", "enter",
"entrance", "out", or "exit", and/or arrows indicating
I desired traffic movement.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after the earliest period permitted by law.
