WHEREAS, bids have been received for salt for ice and snow control; and WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of D()mfqr(5J'..r:~n 1~/~ in the amount of $ ~q. tJ() /U2r t-on per ton is the lowest best bi ; , NOW, THEREfORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, j7 of the elected members concurring: SECTION 1. That the bid of Dornl-ar (~'r fo 5411-) for the sale to the Village of salt for snow an 1ce control in accordance with the speci fications presently on file in the offic e of the Village Manager be, and hereby is, accepted. SECTION 2. That the Village Manager and finance Director be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with said Company for the purchase of said salt. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety and for the further reason of "locking in" the bid price and acknowledging acceptance of said bid within a specified time frame and, therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and I be in force immediately upon its passage.
