October I, 1980 To: Mr. Sherman Sheldon Dublin Village Manager Village of Dublin Dublin, Ohio 43017 , From: Larry and Joyce Hotchkiss 7516 Be1laire Avenue Dublin, Ohio 43017 Dear Mr. Sheldon, I am writing this letter in response to my telephone con- ve~sation with you on 9-30-80 during which I requested a hard- ship exemption from installing a sewer hook-up. My contractor has informed me that it will cost $17,400 to connect up with the sewer and that if rock is encountered, it may cost from two to five thousand more. A copy of the est- imate is attached. The house is Olocated a good distance from Be1laire Avenue, and I am informed that a sewage pump would have to be installed in order to get the sewage into the sewer. In addition, the house is new and the present septic system cost $2,845.00 and has only been in use sin.ce November 1979. ,I would be very grateful if the Dublin City Council could, in their judgment, grant us a hardship exemption.
