I WHEREAS, said annexation has been approved by the Franklin County Commission- ers and Council is of the opinion that said territory should be annexed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring: SECTION 1. That the petition of Roger A. and Diane E. Murphy for the annex,,: ation to the Village of Dublin, of the following described territory in tKe County of Franklin and adjacent to the Village of Dublin, to-wit: (See Attach- ment "A" - the Legal Description) which is hereby made an official part of this Ordinance. The accurate map of said territory together with its petition and a certified Transcript of the proceedings of the County Commissioners re- lating thereto and on file in the office of the Village Manager be, and the same hereby is, accepted. A major Interceptor Sewer is now being constructed along the Scioto River, just west of thea,..ea proposed for annexation which is sched- uled for completion in early 1980. The area is in our Sewer Service I Contract with the City of Columbus. WATER SERVICE The subject area is in our Water Service Contract with the City of Columbus, therefore, it can be served when planning and financial obligations will p~rmit. PO L I CEPROTECT I ON ~Village currently has 24 hour coverage with nine (9) full-time and twelve (12) Reserve Officers. FIRE PROTECT I ON Fire protection is provided by the Washington-Perry Townships Fire Department and, they too, have mutual aid Agreements with other Fire Departments. MA I NTENANCE AND J MPRQVEMENTS The Village spends 8 considerable amount of funds to maintain good services in the area of Street and Road maintenance, Snow removal, I etc., therefore, this area could be served with the same services currently provided to Village residents. It is the feel ing of Dublin Officials that we can and wi II, provide good services to this area proposed for Annexation.
