AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST AND BEST SALTjIED FOR
IC E A NO SNOW CONTROL ON VILLAGE STREETS AND ROADS: AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
I WHEREAS, bids have been received for Salt for ice and snow con-
trol; and
. WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of International
Salt Company in the amount of $30.80 per ton is the lowest and
best bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, to of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the bid of International Salt Company for the
sale to the Village of Salt for Snow and Ice Control in accord-
ance with the specifications presently on file in the office of
the Village Manager be, and hereby is, accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Village Manager and Finance Director be and
they hereby are authorized and directe~ to execute a contract
with said Company for the purchase of said Salt.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is de-
clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety and for the
I further reason of "locking in" the bid price and acknowledging
acceptance of said bid within a certain time frame and therefore
this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately
upon its passagei
