AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST AND/OR BEST BID fOR
1980 STREET IMPROVEMENTS: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
I WHEREAS, bids have been received for 1980 Street Improvements, and:
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Northwood Stone & As halt Co. ,
in the amount of $149,219.45_ for said improvements is the lowest and or
best bid:
NOW, THEREfORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 5 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1: That the bid of Northwood Stone & Asphalt for 1980 Street Im-
provements in accordance with specifications presently on file in the office
of the Manager be, and hereby is, accepted and, the Manager and finance Direc-
tor are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with said Company.
SECTI ON 2. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace
health and safety and for the further reason that these improvements are cur-
rently needed and approval would permit the contractor to commence said im-
provements as soon as possible, therefore, this Ordinance shall take effect
and be in force immediately upon its passage.
