AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A CODE OF PER-
SONNEL PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES FOR
I THE MUNICIPALITY OF DUBLIN, OHIO AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Section 7.01 (A) of the Charter for Dublin, Ohio provides
that all appointments and promotions of employees in the service
of the Municipality shall be made in accordance to merit and fit-
ness, and
WHEREAS, Section 7.01 (A) of the Charter of Dubl in, Ohio provides
that the Counc i I sha II adopt a Code of Personnel Practices and
Procedures to implement the mandate of said Section 7.01 (A ).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION I . That the Code of Personnel Practices and Procedures
attached hereto are hereby adopted and shall be implemented and
administered, along with other appropriate personnel procedures
and activities, by the Village/City Manager and/or his designated
representative.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, de-
I clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety and for the
further reason that this Code is necessary for the proper and
efficient administration of personnel functions under the Charter
form of government. Therefore, this Ordinance shall take effect
and be in force immediately upon its passage.
