NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORD)-I NED by the Counc i I of the V i II age of Dubl in, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring: SECTION I. That two (2) positions of "Engineering Inspector" be, and hereby are, established. SECTION 2. That the duties and responsibilities of said "En2in- eerlng Inspector" posit1ons shal I be as set forth in the Job Description attached hereto, marked as Exhibit "A", and hereby made an official part of this Ordinance. SECTION J. That the starting salary range is $12,000-$15,000 per year, and al I other fringe benefits such as Sick Leave, Vacation, etc. shal I be as prescribed In Ordinance 61-77 "THE COMPENSATION PLAN" for the Village of Dubl in, Ohio, adopted by Counci I on Oct- ober 17, 1977. SECTION 4. In addition, each said "Engineering Inspector" posi- I tion shal I include a ~50.00 per month transportation allowance to cover travel expenses' associated with performing the duties of "En~ineering Inspector". SECTION 5. That the Vii lage Administrator be, and hereby is, authorized and directed to advertise and fill these two (2) pos- itions. The successful candidates for said positions shall be appointed for a six (6) month probationary period. SECTION 6. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby IS, de- clared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the publ ic peace, health, and safety, and for the further reason that additional ful I-time "Engineering Inspector~" are required to perform the day to day activities of inspecting various improvements; therefore, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in forc~ immediately upon its passage. Assuring compl iance with plans and specifications is a major task of the Inspector.
