WHEREAS, bids have been received for Salt for snow and ice control for the Winter of 1983-1984, and: WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of ~~ in the amount of $.16 .~ per ton is the lowest best bid; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, I of the elected members concurring: ''-----. SECTI ON 1. That the bid of ~ 'j~~, ~. in accordance with speci fications presently on file in the office of the Manager be, and hereby is, accepted. SECTION 2. That the Village Manager and Finance Director be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a Contract with said Company for the purchase of Salt. SECTI ON 3. 'I I recommend that Council accept the bid of Domtar Industries, Inc. at $26.85 per ton. No payments are made until Salt is ordered and delivery is made.
