Cols" O. ~ Form No, 2806-A Resolution 3'-7.> . : ~ No .muu'________mum P assed---m-,m,-AUG------5---l9-75-n-mu---19 __u_ -- I RESOLUU'ION TO PROCEED TO SUBMIT THE~TION OF TIm ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR THE' , SE OF CONSTRUCTING A MJNICIPALWATERWORKS SYSTFM~ TO CERTIFY nIB SAME TO THE BOARD OF ELECTIO , I AND TO DECLARE AN lMlRGENCY WHEREAS, on July 7, 1975 this COlmcil duly adopted Resolution No. 31-75 providing for the submission to the electors of the Village the question of issuing $775,000 of bonds for the purpose as set forth below and of levying a tax to provide for their payment at the regular general election to be held on the 4th day of November, 1975; and WHEREAS, the Auditor of Franklin County has duly certified to this Council that the average aruma1 tax levy throughout the life of the bonds which would be required to pay the interest on and retire such bonds, asstuning that they are all issued in one series and that the amount of the tax list of this Vill~e remains the same throughout the life of said bonds as the amount of the list for the current year, is Three and One-Tenth (3.1) mills fo.r each 11 one dollar of valuation, which amounts to Thirty-one (3l~) cents for each ItI one hundred dollars of valuation; NOW, TI-IEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio ~ of the elected members concurring, that: SECTION 1. This Council hereby determines that it is necessary to pro- ceed with the issuance of bonds in the Stml of $775,000 for the purpose of _ constructing a nnmicipal watelWorks system by the acquistion of real estate, 0'1" .....u...^" or DlW ,^".,rlll'S ." reM a~~, and the construction of water lines, and appurtenances, requiring an average annual tax levy of Three and One-Tenth (3.1) mills for each one dollarof-, taxable valuation, which amounts to Thirty- One (31 ~) cents for each one hundred dollars of taxable valuation during the maxi.mum munber of twenty years required to retire said bonds. I SECTION 2. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, welfare and safety for the reason that t tmder Ohio law, in order to proceed with I the submission of a bond issue to the electors on November 4, 1975, this resolution must be filed with the COtmty Board of Elections on or before August 6, 1975, and that, therefore, this resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
