A RESOLUTION GRANTING THE DUBLIN HISTORICAL SOCIETY
i PERMISSION TO CLOSE A PORTION OF soom HIGH STREET

WHEREAS, the Dublin Historical Society is plarming to sponsor an Arts
and Crafts Fair on South High Street in the Village of Dublin, Ohio, on July
I 5th and 6th, 1975; and
I
WHEREAS, it will be necessary to close a portion of said street to
vehicular traffic so as to protect the health, safety and welfare of the
pedestrians and participants attending said Fair; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Counsel of the Village of Dublin,
Ohio, that said Fair would be beneficial to said Village, and that the closing
of said street to vehicular traffic. is necessary;
IDW, TIffiREFORE, it is hereby RESOLVED by the COWlcil of the Village
of Dublin, Ohio, 6 of the members concurring that:
~ SECTION I, A portion of South High Street be closed to vehicular
traffic between the hours of 11 :00 A,M., to 8: 00 P.M., on July 5, 1975, and
between the hours of 12:00 noon and 6:00 P.M" on July 6, 1975, so that the
Dublin Historical Society can sponsor and conduct an Arts and Crafts Fair on
said street during the dates and times set forth.
I SECTION 2, This Resolution is contingent upon, and will be null

and void Wlless, the Dublin Historical Society agrees to and, in fact, does
the following:
i A. Provide personal inj ury insurance covering all
persons attending said Fair in a stun not less than
$100,000/$300,000, and further agrees to save the
Village of Dublin harmless from any and all claims,
m demands, or liability arising out of said Fair; and
B, Provide adequate sanitary facilities for persons
attending said Fair; and
I
C, Return South High Street to the same condition
it was in inmediately prior to said Fair, by cleaning
up all trash, etc., that may be littering said street;
and
D, Hiring, at its own expense, as many off duty police

officers as may be detennined by the Mayor or Chief
of Police to be necessary to direct traffic and assure
.~ the public peace at said Fair; and
E, Penni t no booths, displays or other such i terns to
be placed on said street in such manner that would
impede any emergency fire or medical vehicle fram
travelling on said street.
SEcrION 3. That this Resolution be in effect from and upon its
passage,
