RESOLUTION NO. Og -73 , VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, omo
I RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY OF COLUMBUS TO
AMEND ITS APPLICATION FOR FUNDING BY THE
I ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY TO INC LUDE
WITHIN SAID PROJECT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TRUNK
SEWER TO THE NORTH CORPORATE LIMIT OF THE VILLAGE
ALONG THE EAST BANK OF THE SCIOTO RIVER; AND
FURTHER RESOLVING TO PAY FOR THE PORTION OF SAID
TRUNK SEWER FROM MARTIN ROAD TO THE NORTH
I CORPORATE LIMIT OF THE VILLAGE NOT FUNDED BY THE
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY UPON CERTAIN
CONDITIONS
BE IT RESOLVED 00r the Council of the Village of Dubli:p, State of
Ohio, ~ of the members elected thereto concurring:
SECTION 1. That the City of Columbus be requested to amend
its application for funding by the Environmental Protection Agency for the
construction of a trunk sewer on the east side of the Scioto River from Case
Road to Martin Road by including within said project the extension of said
sewer from Martin Road to the north corporate limit of the Village of Dublin,
along the east bank of the Scioto River.
I SECTION 2. That the Village of Dublin shall pay that portion of
the cost of engineering, right of way acquisition and construction costs, not
paid for by the Environmental Protection Agency for the segment of said
trunk sewer from Martin Road to the north corpo,rate limit of the Village,
Provided, however, that the Village's obligation shall be on the condition
that the Environmental Protection Agency shall pay 75% of said engineering
costs, right of way acquisition costs and construction costs, and Provided
further that a modification of the sewerage service agreement between the
City of Columbus and the Village of Dublin shall be entered into with respect
to said segment, if felt necessary by either party, and Provided further
that said sewer segment and the right of way therefor shall be the property
I of the Village of Dublin, and Provided further that all other legal requiremen
shall be met and that this resolution shall not constitute an appropriation
