"..J RESOLUTION REQUESTING ESTABLISHMENT OF SPEED LIMIT ON INTERSTATE
HIGHWAY 270 WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN,OHIO.
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Council of the
Village of Dublin, Ohio,~hat the statutory vehicular speed
1Unit established by Section 4511.21, Revised Code of Ohio,
is less than that considered reasonable and safe on Interstate
Highway 270 within the corporation 1Units of the Village of
Dublin, Ohio, and,
WHEREAS, it is the belief of this Council that the statutory
speed 1Unit of 60 miles per hour on Interstate Highway 270 is
less than that considered reasonable and safe on Interstate
Highways,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, Ohio:
0 Sec tion 1. By virtue of the provisions of Section 4511.21,
Revised Code of Ohio, the Director of Highways is hereby re-
quested to review the traffic and roadway conditions on Inter-
state Highway 270 and to determine and declare a reasonable and
safe prUna facie speed 1Unit on Interstate Highway 270 within
the corporation limits of the Village of Dublin, Ohio.
Section 2. That when the Director of Highways has determined
and declared a reasonable and safe speed limit on the section of
road described in Section 1 hereof, official signs, properly
posted and giving notice thereof will be erected by the Director
of Highways.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect and be in
force from and after the earliest period provided by law.
