'-". ._,=~ "'~ RECORD OF RESOLUT I ON RESOLUTION NO: 2/-1 J:> PASSED MA.'JUi- I~ , 1976 A RESOLUTION URGING CONGRESS TO ENACT LEGISLATION TO CONTINUE C THE FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING PROGRAM: AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the present Federal Revenue Sharing Program is due to expire in 1976; and WHEREAS, this legislation has been of great assistance in main- taining and improving the quality of urban life where most of our citizens live; and WHEREAS, the benefits to our Vii lage in particular have been rea I i zed by t his in combination with local resources: NOW, THERE FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the V i II age of Dublin, State of Ohio,~_ of the elected members concurring: SECTION I. That the Congress of the United States is hereby re- quested to enact appropriate legislation to continue the Federal Revenue Sharing Program in order to continue the assistance re- quired by our Village and all urban communities to meet the needs of our local government. SECTION 2. That the Clerk of this Counci I is directed to send a (J copy of this Resolution to Senators Robert Taft, Jr., John Glenn and Congressmen Samuel L. Devine and Chalmers P. Wylie. SECTION 3.
