A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO PROCEED TO SUBMIT THE QUESTION OF THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS OF THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN FOR THE PUR- POSE OF CONSTRUCTING A MUNICIPRL WATERWORKS, CERTIFYING THE C SAME TO THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY, OHIO, I AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. I i 1976, duly WHEREAS, this Council on the 19th day of January, adopted Resolution 2-76 providing for the submission to the electors of the Village of the question of issuing $ 775,000.00 of bonds for the purpose of constructing a waterworks system by the accquisition of real estate or easements or other int- erests in real estate, and the construction of water lines tJ and appurtenances and of levying a tax to provide for their payment at the primary election to be held on the 8th day of June, 1976; and d WHEREAS, the Auditor of Franklin County has certified to this Council that the average annual levy throughout the life of such bonds which would be required to pay the interest on and Z to retire the same, assuming that they are all issued in one series and that the amount of the tax list of th is V i II age 0 remains throughout the life of the bonds, the same as the tax ~) list for the current year, is Z mills for each one dollar of taxable valuation, which amounts to .~O~ cents for each one hundred dollars of taxable valuation. C (J NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Village of Dublin, County of Franklin, and State of Ohio, S- of the members elected thereto concurring: .r:) SECTIOtj I. County, Ohio Resolution No: aforesaid calling such elec- -rI tion together with a copy of this Resolution, the amount of V the average annual tax levy as estimated by the County Aud- itor, and the maximum number of years to retire said bonds, namely 20 years, to give notice of said election, and to pre- pare the necessary ballots and supplies therefor. SECTION 2. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emer- gency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the Village and its i nhab itants and for the further reason that this Resolution must be cer- tified to the Board of Elections, Frank I in County, Ohio, by March 9, 1976 in order to submit the question herein to the electors, wherefore this Resolution, shall take effect and r., be in force from and immediately after ~pas age. pr .
