A RESOLUTION DECLARING IT NECESSARY TO LEVY A TAX IN EXCESS
OF THE TEN MILL LIMITATION.

Mr. 4€ESE moved the adoption of the following
Resolution:
WHEREAS, the amount of taxes which may be raised within the
ten mill limitation will be insufficient to provide an ade-
quate amount for the necessary requirements of said Village
~ of Dublin, Franklin County, Ohio, therefore be it resolved
: . by the Counci I of the Vi Ilage of Dubl in, Frankl in County, Ohio,
two-thirds of all members elected thereto concurring, that it
is necessary to levy a tax in excess of the ten mill limitation
for the benefit of the Village of Dublin, Ohio for the purpose
of providing and maintaining motor vehicles, communications,
and other equipment, used directly in the operation of a police
department, or the payment of sal ies of permanent police per-
sonnel at a rate not exceeding mi II~ for e ch one dollar
of valuation, which amounts to "''J..''I -tz{.for each
one hundred dollars of valuation for Five 5 years, and which
levy is a renewal of an existing levy of 1.6 mills.
RESOLVED, that said levy be placed upon the tax list of the
current year after the February settlement next succeeding
the election, if a majority of the electors voting thereon
vote in favor thereof; and be it further Resolved that the
Clerk of this Village of Dublin, Ohio, be and he hereby is,
directed to certify a copy of this Resolution to the Board
of Elections, Franklin County, Ohio, prior to the NINTH
(Cf~.) day ofiflA/l ell , 1976, and not i fy sa i d Board of
Elections to cause notice of election on the question of levying
