A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE STATE OF OHIO,
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO UNDERTAKE
.~ PLANNING FOR THE WIDENING TO, AT LEAST FOUR
(4 ) LANES, OF U.S. 33-161 FROM FRANTZ ROAD
TO SAWMILL ROAD.
WHEREAS, the Northwest Quadrant of Franklin County,ofwhich' Dublin is a
part, is experiencing continued residential and commercial development,
and:
WHEREAS, said development will continue to flourish over a number of
years:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring: ,
SECTION 1. The Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, does hereby
I request that the State of Ohio, Department of Transportation take
I under serious and immediate consideration the planning for the
widening of U.S. 33-161 from Frantz Road to Sawmill Road to at least
four (4) lanes. The Clerk of Council is hereby directed to certify
i a copy of this Resolution to the Director of the Department of
Transportation, State of Ohio.
~ SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from
I and after the earliest period allowed by law.
