RESOLUTION NO. 16-80
A RESOLUTION OBJECTING TO THE RENEWAL OF
OHIO LIQUOR LICENSE C-l and C-2 ISSUED TO
THE OMEGA OIL STATION, STATE ROUTE 161
0 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Council of the
Village of Dublin that multi violations of Ohio law have been re-
ported concerning the C-l, C-2 Liquor License presently held by
the Omega Oil Gas Station, Route 161, Dublin, Ohio, and
WHEREAS, said license must be renewed by the Ohio Department
of Liquor Control and
WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interests of the public
health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the Village that
said license not be renewed,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village
of Dublin, 5 members concurring that:
Section 1. It is hereby the recommendation and request of
the Village of Dublin that the Ohio Department of Liquor Control
not approve the renewal of the C-l, C-2 License of the Omega Oil
OJ Station, Route 161, Permit Number 6547679-0005, for the reason
that several violations of the liquor control law have occurred,
including several instances of illegal sales within the Village to
minors not entitled to purchase alcoholic beverages.
Section 2. That this Resolution be and the same hereby is,
declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be
, in force immediately upon its passage.
