A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REGULATION Of TRAffIC ON I
MUIRfIELD DRIVE AND OTHER ROADS IN MUIRfIELD VILLAGE, i
I AND AMENDING RESOLUTION 20-79.
WHEREAS, the Annual Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled at the Muirfield
Golf Course from May 19, 1980 through May 25, 1980; and
WHEREAS, there has in the past, been an unusually large amount of vehicular I
traffic involved with said Tournament; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Dublin Village Council that such traffic
would be better controlled, thereby assuring the health, safety and welfare
of residents of the Village, by regulating traffic on Muirfield Drive and
the other roads in Muirfield Village.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, 1
of the Elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. Muirfield Drive and all other roads in Muirfield Village, are to
be closed to all traffic except as authorized by the Village Manager and
Chief of Police of the Village of Dublin, Ohio during the hours of 7:00 A.M.
to 7:00 P.M. from Monda~ May 19, 1980 through Sunda~ May 25, 1980.

SECTION 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and
after the earliest period allowed by law.

AMENDMENT:
() SECTI ON 2: furthermore, in the interest of the public health, safety and
welfare, there shall be no parking by tournament attendees and others
associated with the tournament on non-collector streets and cul-de-sacs
in Muirfield Village.
