A RESOLUTION APPOINTING A PERSONNEL DIRECTOR, EXPAND-
ING THE DUTIES OF THE PERSONNE L BOARD OF REVIEW, AND
~ DECLARING AN E~ERGENCY.
(A) of the Dubl in Charter
HHEREAS, Art i c I e V I I, Section 7.01
provides that the Manager or his/her appointee b€ the Personnel
Director of the Municipal ity, and;
\vHEREAS, Art i c I e V I I, Section 7.01 (B)(2) states that the Person
nel Board of Review may have such other powers and duties as may
be given by Ordinances or Resolution, and;
\vHEREAS, JOHN R. STRUTNER is hereby being recommended by the
Manager to be the Personnel Director, and;
, WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to have the expertise of members
of the Personne I Board of Review to assist in preparation of
E.E.O., Civi I Rights, etc. documentation and compl iance, and to I
assist in reviews of the Vi I lage Compensation Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Counci I of the Vi I lage of
Dubl in, State of Ohio, ~_ of the elected members concurring:
[J SECTION I . That JOHN R. STRUTNER be, and hereby is confirmed
as the appointee to the position of Personnel Director.
SECTION 2. That the Personnel Board of Review shal I also serve
as an Advisory Board to the Manager, Personnel Director and
Vi I lage Council1as requested, to assist in preparation of E.E.O.
Civi I Rights, etc. documentation and compl iance and} as requeste~
to assist in revising the Vi I lage Compensation Plan.
SECTION 3. That this Resolution be, and hereby is declared to
be an emergency measure necessary for the publ ic health, safety
and welfare and for the futher reason that it is necessary to
comply with the mandates of Section 7.01 of the Charter.
