I A RESOLUTION TO SUPPORT THE MENTAL RETARDATION

LEVY - ISSUE I, ON THE JUNE 8, 1982 BALLOT.
WHEREAS, the citizens of Franklin County, Ohio, have before them on their bal-
lot of June 8, 1982, a 1.65 mill renewal and additional levy for the purpose
of maintaining basic mental retardation services in the community, and
WHEREAS, this levy is needed to continue programs such as early childhood
classes, training centers for children, and job training for adults to help
I them live more successfully in the community, and

WHEREAS, direct services are presently provided to over 2000 children and
adults on a daily basis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the Council of the Village of Dublin does hereby endorse
Issue I appearing on the June 8, 1982 ballot and urges all citizens of Columbus
and Franklin County, Ohio, similarly to support the levy with their affirmative
D votes.
SECTION 2. That this Resolution be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health
safety, and welfare; therefore, this Resolution shall take effect and be in
force immediately upon its passage.
