m A RESOLUTION TO CONFIRM THE ADOPTION OF AN AMENDMENT
"', TO MID-OHIO REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION (MORPC)
ARTICLES OF AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission did adopt, on April 22, 198 ,
an amendment to its Articles of Agreement and,
WHEREAS, the amendment will clarify the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission'
tax exempt status, which is needed to ensure that County bonds for the new
MORPC office building will be tax emempt, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary that a majority of the members of the Mid-Ohio Region
al Planning Commission confirm the amendment to the Articles of Agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, ~
of the elected members concurring that:
SECTION 1. Does hereby confirm the amendment to the Articles of Agreement of
the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission as adopted by the Mid-Ohio Regional
Planning Commission on April 22, 1982, which adds the following Article:

D TAX EXEMPT STATUS AND DISSOLUTION
"Notwithstanding any other provision of these articles, the or-
ganization shall not carryon any other activities not permitted
to be carried on (a) by an organization exempt from Federal in-
come tax under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code
of 1954 (or the corresponding provision of any future United
States Internal Revenue Law) or (b) by an organization, contri-
butions to which are deductible under section 170 (c) (2) of
the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (or the corresponding provi-
sion of any future United States Internal Revenue Law)."
Upon the dissolution of the organization, the members of the
Commission shall, after paying or making provision for the
payment of all of the liabilities of the organization, dispose
of all of the assets of the organization in such manner or to
a governmental unit to be used exclusively for public purposes.
SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately
upon its passage.
