A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REGULATION OF TRAFFIC
ON MUIRFIELD DRIVE AND OTHER ROADS IN MUIRFIELD
m DURING THE ANNUAL MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT.
WHEREAS, the Annual Memorial Tournament is scheduled at the Muirfield Golf
Club from May 24, 1982 through May 30, 1982; and
WHEREAS, there is an unusually large amount of vehicular traffic involved wit
said Tournament; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Dublin Village Council that such traffic
would be better controlled, thereby assuring the health, safety and welfare 0
Village residents by regulating traffic on Muirfield Drive and other roads in
Muirfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State
of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. Muirfield Drive and all other roads in Muirfield are to be closed
to all traffic except as authorized by the Village Manager and Chief of Polic
of the Village of Dublin, Ohio during the hours of 7:00 a.m. from Monday, May
24, 1982 through Sunday, May 30, 1982.
D SECTION 2. In the further interest of the public health, safety, and welfare,
there shall be no parking by Tournament attendees and others associated with
the Tournament on non-collector streets and cul-de-sacs in Muirfield.
SECTION 3. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and
after the earliest period allowed by law.
