I"t A RESOLUTION TO ENDDRSE PASSAGE DF A DNE AND SIX-
ILJ TENTHS (1 6/10) MILL LEVY FOR FRANKLIN COUNTY
CHILDREN SERVICES BOARD
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Children Services Board has placed a 1 6/10
mill levy on the November, 1981 ballot; and
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Children Services Board serves abused, neglected
and homeless children who depend on the Agency as their only hope; and
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Children Services Board has demonstrated the
need for this levy because of an increasing demand for services, decreasing
revenues, and increasing costs; and
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Children Services Board is required by law to
provide certain services to children, whether or not there are funds available
to pay for these services; and
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Children Services Board has made 22% cuts in
programs and employee levels and will face an additional crippling cut of
27% of its programs and employees if no additional levy is passed; and
WHEREAS, this levy will only meet the project costs of maintaining current

... .. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the Village of Dublin hereby
endorses passage of the 1 6/10 mill levy to support the continuing provision
of services to abused, neglected and homeless children by the Franklin County
Children Services Board and will communicate this support to its members.
