I A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER

FOR THE ACCOMMODATION OF PRISONERS AND

1 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village
of Dublin, Ohio b members concurring, that:
Section 1.
The Village Manager be and hereby is authorized to sign on

~ behalf of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, the contract for the
! accommodation of Union County prisoners, attached hereto and
I incorporated hereby by reference as if fully repeated.

l Section 2.
That this Resolution be and hereby is declared to be an
! emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public
health, safety and welfare and shall take effect and be in force
o immediately upon its passage. .

AGREEMENT FOR THE ACCOMMODATION AND EXCHANGE
mr ptRSONS INCARCERATED BETWEEN TH~ VILLAGE
OF DUBLtN, OHIO, AND THE COUNTY OF llNtON, OHIO.

WHEREAS, the Village of Dublin, an Ohio Municipal Corporatio ,
has recently annexed, within its corporate limits, certain real
property located within Union County, Ohio, and
WHEREAS, for those offenses committed within said Village of
Dublin, in Union County, Ohio, it will be necessary to have avail
t able a detention facility within said Union County to receive
detainees, prisoners, and arrestees prior to and subsequent to
court hearings conducted in relation to said detainees, prisoners
and arrestees, and
I WHEREAS, the Ctunty of Union, State of Ohio, presently has

available facilitie' for the detention of such persons committing
C offenses or being found within the Village of Dublin, County of
I Union, State of Ohio,
NOW THEREFORE, In consideration of the foregoing and the

.' mutual promises and covenants contained herein, The Village of

, the Second Part, do hereby agree as follows:
First. Party of the First Part will on occasion have the need
.' to incarcerate individuals charged with an offense in Union
County, both felony and misdemeanor defendants, in the Union
County Jail prior to proceedings in either Common Pleas Municipal
or Mayor's Court and subsequent to such proceedings, before trans
I: portation to other institutions or to serve such sentences in
;: Q: said county jail as may be lawfully imposed by said courts.

I incarceration of said individuals upon the above terms, agrees
I to accept individuals pursuant to this Agreement and according
to its capabilities under the same terms and conditions as other
~~ municipalities, townships and counties using the said Union

Third. It is understood between the Parties hereto that this
Agreement imposes no duty upon the said Party of the Second Part
