A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH A PORTION OF THE RECENTLY
ACQUIRED 53 ACRES ON AVERY ROAD AS A VILLAGE NURSERY.
C WHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that a portion of said land should
be utilized as a Village Nursery and;
WHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that we should contact developers
for the donation of small trees, and shrubs which would probably
otherwise be destroyed, for transplanting to assist in establishing
said nursery area:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, J1 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That at least two (2) acres of the recently acquired land
on Avery Road be reserved for the purpose of establishing and maintain-
ing a Village Nursery.
SECTION 2. That the Village Engineer, during the review process of
proposed new developments, shall ascertain if trees and shrubs are
to be removed, and if it is determined that the trees and shrubs
would be of an acceptable species and size, a request for donation
to the Village Nursery should be extended.
SECTION 3. That Village personnel would be responsible for the dig-
ging and re-planting of any trees or shrubs obtained by this donation

'-- SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from
and after the earliest period allowed by law.
