J. "John" Moffitt has faithfully served the Village of Dublin - 1 as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission for a period in excess of twenty (20) years; and WHEREAS, in serving on said Commission he also served as the Chairperson and was the Village representative to the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission during most of these years of service; and WHEREAS, in serving on said Commission over these many years the aforesaid JOHN MOFFITT has given freely of his time and has devoted his efforts to the purpose of making the Village a better place in which to live and work; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council of the Village of Dublin, both for itself, and on behalf of Village residents, to express sincere appreciation and gratitude to JOHN MOFFITT. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, that by this Resolution, said Council expresses its sincere THANKS and its best wishes for the future to said JOHN MOFFITT. Drane Company, an Ohio corporation (hereinafter called the Contractor), in consideration of mutually agreed upon promises and conditions set forth herein. ('" A. The Contractor shall, on an annual basis for a 5 year period beginning at the time of L the adoption or latest supplementation of the Codif',ed Ordinances,(:~tegrate into the Cod- ified Ordinances all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted subsequent to the prev!.ous inclusion of material, and in providing said service agrees to: 1. Examine and review all ordinances of the MWlicipality to ascertain material suitable for integration. 2. Photo pr:nt any selected material when copies for manuscript purposes are unavailable. 3. Evaluate all selected material for provisions which appear to be obsolete, repea~ed specifically or by implication, ambiguou;:i, vague or inapplicable, or in conflict with other law (State statute, Charter or other ordinance provisions and court decisions) and refer questions on the same to the Solicitor for a decision. 4. Edit all ordinance material by correcting all spelling, capitalization, grammatical and typographical errors, but the sense, meaning or legal effect of any ordinance provision shall not be altered. 5. ClassitY and arrange selected material into its proper component code, title (or article), chapt.er and section positioIl, 6. Prepare proper and descriptive hea~gs for each title, chapter and section. 7. Number all material to conform with the decimal numbering system and code classification. 8. Substitute proper code numbers for references \vithil. sections of selected material so ,. . as to conform with the new numbering system. , 9. Substitute the words "this code" or "this chapter" for "this ordinance" whenever the \..... sense so requires. 10. Prepare cross references for each chapter to applicable provisions of State statutes, and other sections, chapters or c,:.:des of the Codified Ordinances. 11. P~'epare a legislative history for each section, noting the ordinance number and date of passage. . 12. Prepare a supplemental index to cover all ordinance material to be integrated. 13. Prepare a comparative ,:,ection table indicating the disposition of integrated ordinances. 14. Prepare a supplemental listing of special ordinances if such original listing is included in the Codiiied Ordinances. 15. The MWlicipality agrees to: ~ 1. Pay the Contractor annually for the term the Contractor's services are retained . a sum of: (a) $500.00 for editorial ser'vices set forth in Part A of this agreement. f (b) $16.00 _per printed page which is changed (new matter included). L (c) $6.00 per printed page which is Wlchanged (the reverse side of a changed page) All sums are payable within ten" days after receipt of the sets of printed pages by the MWlicipality. 2. Pay delivery charges of the sets of printed pages from Cleveland to Dublin . C. 1. This ag)'cement is subject to acceptance by the Municipality within 60 days of the date of this agreement. 2. The MWlicipality may at any time terminate !Jus agreement by giving ninety days notice in writing sent by registered mail to the Contractor. 3. The Municipality may at its option renew this agreement for a period of ---- years commencing on the expiration of the term aforesaid and in accolda.nce with the terms provided in Paragraphs A. and B. hereof by giving notice of the exercise of such (" option to the Contractor at least thirty days before the expiration of the term of the L. agreeil1ent.
