[ A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE VILLAGE ENGINEER
TO PROCEED OR CONTRACT WITH AN ENGINEERING
FIRM FOR THE PREPARATION OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS
AND ESTIMATES OF COST FOR A WATERLINE ON
SHIER-RINGS ROAD AS PETITIONED BY PROPERTY
OWNERS ON SAID ROAD.
WHEREAS, property owners on Shier-Rings Road have petitioned for
the construction of a twelve inch (12") Waterline along said
Road, and
WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code, Section 727 requires that the
first step required for a petitioned project is the preparation
of plans, specifications and estimates of cost:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the Village Engineer is hereby directed to
proceed or contract with an Engineering firm for the preparation
of plans, specifications and estimates of said Waterline.
[ SECTION 2. That this Resolution be, and hereby is declared to
be an emergency measure for the preservation of the public
peace, health and safety and for the further reason that this
Waterline construction has been petitioned by property owners
desiring service as soon as possible and, therefore this
Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon
its passage.
