A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE
C MANAGER TO EXECUTE AND FILE AN
APPLICATION FOR LAND AND WATER
CONSERVATION FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the Federal Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 (Public
Law 88-578) provides financial assistance to the State of Ohio for outdoor
recreation purposes, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Dublin desires financial assistance under the Land
and Water Conservation Fund Act program for the purpose of Avery Park
development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the Council of the Village of Dublin hereby approves filing
an application for Land and Water Conservation Fund Act financial assistance.
SECTION 2. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
execute and file an application with the Department of Natural Resources,
State of Ohio and to provide all information and documentation required in
said application for submission to the U.S. Department of the Interior.
[ SECTION 3. That the Council of the Village of Dublin hereby does agree to
obligate the funds required to satisfactorily complete the proposed project
and thus become eligible for Land and Water Conservation Fund Act financial
aid of up to 50 percent of the actual allowable reimbursement cost.
