A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A
TIME PERIOD FOR THE POST ROAD
COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT AREA
WITHIN THE CITY OF DUBLIN
WHEREAS, the Ohio Revised Code empowers municipal corporations to
designate areas as community reinvestment areas; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the citizens of Dublin to
designate an area known as the Post Road Community Reinvestment Area
as established in Resolution No. 09-87; and
WHEREAS, the State law requires that the reinvestment area shall exist
for a time period designated by the municipality.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. Within the Post Road Community Reinvestment Area established
in Resolution No. 09-87, tax exemptions for improvements to real property
as described in Section 3735.67 of the Revised Code will be granted
for one half (50 percent) of the taxes for a period of five (5) years
for the construction of every commercial or industrial structure as
described in division C.
Section 2. This Resolution be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure for the preservation of the public peace, health and
safety, and therefore, shall take effect and be in force immediately
upon its passage.
